House renovation in San Mauro
The existing building has a body of traditional masonry ’30s, in the ’60s, on which was built a cant that has exhausted the cubic permitted by existing planning instruments.
The hypothesis of intervention aims to achieve a detached house with garage and workshop / studio releasing the batch to be allocated to green outdoor area. Through the change of use of the warehouse that becomes residential, this displacement is transferred to the main body and realized a new top floor, reaching the maximum height allowed by the plan.
