Feasibility Study concerning the temporary use of the former industrial ex DAI Shed, located in a part of the Fiat old industrial warehouses in Mirafiori, Turin.
Objective of the Study was to verify the possibility to attract innovative proposals for the ex DAI Shed conversion, through the establishment of a plurality of different, temporary and flexible functions, able to trigger virtuous social and economic processes.
Relying on the eight finalists of the International Ideas Competition organized by Torino Nuova Economia S.p.A. and interpreting the task with a deeper horizon, the Study has identified some activity areas (consisting in a mix of functions) able to guarantee the socio-economic and functional coherence of the intervention:
